Our Toffee Apple Jam is a playful gourmet preserve made by hand in small batches using mixed apples, caramelised sugar, lemon juice and vanilla.
Each batch begins by caramelising sugar until it develops a deep amber colour and rich toffee flavour. A mix of tart & sweet apples are then folded through and slowly cooked until the fruit softens, thickens and becomes glossy. Lemon juice balances the sweetness, while vanilla adds warmth and rounds out the nostalgic toffee apple flavour.
The result is glossy, amber and spoonable, with a rustic artisan texture and a flavour that feels like a grown-up version of a childhood fairground favourite.
This jam is made in regional NSW as part of The Seasonal Companion’s small-batch preserve range, with a focus on real ingredients, seasonal produce and simple, generous flavour.
