Our Blood Plum Jam is a traditional seasonal jam made by hand in small batches using blood plums, sugar and lemon juice.
Each batch begins with ripe blood plums, slowly cooked down using a traditional reduction method until the fruit softens, thickens and develops a deep, glossy finish. This jam is made without added pectin, relying instead on fruit, sugar, acidity and time to create a soft, spoonable set.
The flavour is bright, sweet and tangy, with the rich depth that makes blood plums such a beautiful seasonal fruit. It has that proper old-school jam character: simple ingredients, full flavour and no shortcuts.
This jam is made in regional NSW as part of The Seasonal Companion’s small-batch preserve range, with a focus on real ingredients, seasonal produce and simple, generous flavour.
Uses:
Perfect on toast, fresh bread, scones, croissants, pancakes or pikelets. It can also be spooned through yoghurt, porridge or vanilla ice cream, used in baking, layered into sponge cake, or served with brie, sharp cheddar and grazing boards.

Care and storage:
Store in a cool, dry place before opening. Refrigerate after opening and use within the timeframe shown on the jar label. Always use a clean spoon to keep your jam at its best.

Packed carefully to protect the glass jar during transit. Orders are shipped via Australia Post from our rural location on Thursdays and Fridays. Delivery times may vary depending on your location.
