Our Fig & Vanilla Bean Jam is a rich, smooth seasonal jam made by hand in small batches using local figs & real vanilla beans.
Each batch begins with ripe figs slowly cooked until the fruit softens, thickens and develops a deep, rounded flavour. Real vanilla bean adds warmth and sweetness behind the fruit, while citrus pectin helps create a fuller set and citric acid balances the natural richness of the figs.
The result is sweet, mellow and aromatic, with a soft fig flavour and gentle vanilla warmth. It is familiar enough for toast, but special enough for cheese boards and desserts.
This jam is made in regional NSW as part of The Seasonal Companion’s small-batch preserve range, with a focus on real ingredients, seasonal produce and simple, generous flavour.
Uses:
Perfect on toast, fresh bread, scones, croissants, pancakes or pikelets. It can also be spooned through yoghurt, porridge or ice cream, used as a sponge cake layer, folded through cheesecake filling, or paired with soft cheeses and grazing boards.
