Traditional silversmithing, texture shaped by hand.
This sterling silver band was formed at the bench using traditional silversmithing techniques before being carefully hammered to create its distinctive surface texture. A dark patina was then applied and polished back, highlighting every mark and facet created during the making process.
The result is a ring that changes with the light — bright silver catching the raised surfaces while the darker recesses reveal the depth of the texture beneath.

Why this piece stands out
Every hammer mark contributes to the final character of the ring. The texture is not stamped or cast — it was created by hand, one strike at a time.
After forming and soldering the band, the surface was hammered to develop its organic pattern. A dark patina was then added and selectively polished away, creating contrast that emphasises the depth and movement of the texture.
The result is a ring that feels both rugged and refined — simple in form, yet rich in detail.
Presence on the hand
Substantial without being bulky, this ring has a quiet confidence. The textured surface catches light throughout the day, revealing new details with every movement.
The story behind Silver Linings
Each piece I create comes from a deeply personal place — shaped by my experience with breast cancer and the shift it brought to my life. Making by hand became a way to slow down, reconnect, and create something meaningful to wear every day.
