A one-of-a-kind sterling silver signet ring, hand cast using beach sand collected at Sellicks Beach, South Australia, and set with a raw green Australian sapphire.

The beach sand creates the naturally pitted and textured surface of the silver, reminiscent of the rock pools and weathered coastline around Sellicks Beach. I have featured the sand texture on one side of the ring more than the other which gives a rich contrast between the textures.

Nestled into the surface is a raw green Australian sapphire, kept in its natural irregular form. Each Rockpool piece develops differently as the molten silver moves through the sand, so this ring can never be exactly repeated.
