A little piece of the coastline, captured in sterling silver.
This one-of-a-kind pendant features a raw Australian sapphire nestled into an organically shaped sterling silver setting.
Created using traditional sand casting techniques, I've added local beach sand to create a richly textured surface inspired by the rugged coastline of the Fleurieu Peninsula.
The contrast between the high-shine polished silver and the raw beach sand texture gives this little pendant its distinctive character. The deep blue sapphire sits amongst the textures like a tiny treasure discovered in a rockpool.
Small but full of detail, this pendant celebrates the beauty of natural materials, contrasting finishes and organic forms.
Handmade in my Silver Linings studio in Sellicks Beach, South Australia.
