Prehistoric Forest, a print of native ferns and foliage from my original cyanotype. Printed on 100% recycled paper, A4 only for now.
The ferns come from my conservation property in the Southern Tablelands of NSW. Ferns are an ancient plant group, and this piece leans into that feeling.

What is a cyanotype?
Cyanotype is a photographic process that's over 180 years old. I paint paper with a light-sensitive solution, lay real plants on top and let the sun do the rest. The plants leave white silhouettes on deep blue.
