Hey I'm Jess. Until recently, I was a conservation field ecologist with the CSIRO (Australia's National Science Agency). I spent much of my year kayaking through wetlands to catch Spoonbills and Ibis, or doing floristics surveys in critically endangered ecosystems and flying drones for research. Due to chronic health issues, I've left my science career behind but I bring my expertise and passion to you with my cyanotype art that portrays nature, is made with nature and by nature. Enjoy! x

Our Refund Policy
I pour a lot of heart and soul into each piece of art created and so I endeavour to ensure that you are 100% happy with your purchase. That is why I offer a 3-day return policy. This means that you have 3 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging. If your custom item is not as requested (i.e. material or size), you are also eligible for a return. Youāll need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us atĀ hello@bluebowerart.com. If your return is accepted, weāll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Customers are responsible for the cost of postage. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues:
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items:
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders commissions or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges:
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted and refunded, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds:
We will notify you once weāve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, youāll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Our Shipping Policy
Processing Time:
The time I need to prepare an order for dispatch varies.
For in-stock, non-custom orders, your purchase will be dispatched within 7 days of purchase.
For custom orders, I will contact you to discuss specifics for your piece of artwork. Initially, I will work with you to finalize a plan for your artwork (i.e. we will discuss the size of the image on the page, the size of the page, etcā¦). Once a plan is approved by you I will set to work on your purchase. Due to the nature of the cyanotype process and reliance on the sun to be shining strongly, your artwork may take up to 21 days from approval of the plan. Luckily, Australia is not in short supply of sunny days, therefore it is likely to be much sooner than that. If for reasons out of my control your piece has not been able to be produced within 21 days, I will contact you and discuss options at the time. For more details, see individual items.
Items are shipped via Standard tracked post with Australia Post unless otherwise stated. Delivery times are estimated at between 5 and 14 days unless otherwise stated. Postage services are currently experiencing delays due to COVID-19.
