Did you know the platypus (Ornithorhynchus anatinus) finds its food with electroreceptors in its bill? It's also one of the world's few egg-laying mammals, which makes it the overachiever of my Aussie Animals Collection.
This print comes from my original platypus cyanotype from that collection. I made the platypus from native Australian flowers, placing every petal and stem by hand.
The original cyanotype has sold. This limited edition is a reproduction of it, numbered and signed by hand, and if you'd like a commission of your own, message me through Madeit. A treasure for platypus fans, nurseries and kids' rooms, and a numbered piece to collect.
