I make each card one at a time. I place every flower by hand, then the sun prints the image into the card. No two cards are exactly the same, and you can frame the card afterwards as a keepsake.

The card itself is handmade too. Charlotte, a small business owner in South Australia, pulps unused office paper and sun-dries it into thick, textured card.

What is a cyanotype?

Cyanotype is a photographic process that's over 180 years old. I paint paper with a light-sensitive solution, lay real plants on top and let the sun do the rest. The plants leave white silhouettes on deep blue.
