A card for every occasion, and a scientific name for (nearly) every plant.
Blank A6 greeting cards with my cyanotype art of Australian native plants. Choose from 7 designs:
- Coastal Forest: bracken fern (Pteridium esculentum) in coastal colours
- Bottlebrush (Callistemon): every stamen in the brush
- Kangaroo Grass (Themeda triandra): a native grass
- Box Gum Grassy Woodland: wildflowers of a critically endangered ecological community
- Dandelion Wishes: a seed head for a wish
- Grevillea: Deua grevillea (Grevillea rhyolitica) from my garden, a favourite of eastern spinebills
- Prehistoric Forest: ancient bracken fern fronds
I'm a conservation ecologist turned artist, so I give each plant its scientific name where I can. Plant geek habits die hard.
They're blank inside, so they work for birthdays, thank-yous, sympathy, Mother's Day and Father's Day, and they double as note cards and gift tags. Keep a stash handy if you're a native gardener or just love the Australian bush.

What is a cyanotype?
Cyanotype is a photographic process that's over 180 years old. I paint paper with a light-sensitive solution, lay real plants on top and let the sun do the rest. The plants leave white silhouettes on deep blue.
