Plot twist: this dandelion isn't a dandelion. Dandelion Wishes is a giant seed head in blue and white, and it's a goat's beard (Tragopogon), often called a giant dandelion. It was a weed in my garden, so I pressed the specimen to keep the fine detail of every seed.
A seed head like this is often called a clock. Take a deep breath, close your eyes and make a wish.
It's a gentle print to give at the start of something new, like a new baby, a new home or a fresh start, or to someone who needs a little hope. It's a lovely thinking-of-you gift too.

What is a cyanotype?
Cyanotype is a photographic process that's over 180 years old. I paint paper with a light-sensitive solution, lay real plants on top and let the sun do the rest. The plants leave white silhouettes on deep blue.
