Once the fabric pieces were formed the four sides, and square base, were made into ‘sandwiches’ with wadding and lining and quilted for strength and padding. The black band at the top is a channel for two drawstrings.

The bag outer and straps are synthetic, but the lining, wadding and sewing threads are cotton so the bag is fully washable in cold water (dry in the shade).

The bag has a 21 cm square base, and the sides are 22.5 cm high. The strap can be from 83 cm to 150 cm in length, and is 3 cm wide.
