It was this unusual natural formation — almost like a doorway appearing within the purple — that inspired the name Violet Gateway.
The stone has been wrapped by hand, with silver-filled wire frame and woven bail designed to complement the natural pattern while allowing the Chevron Amethyst to remain the focus.
