Indigo Sky features a natural tanzanite with beautiful blue-violet colouring, wrapped by hand in silver-filled wire.

There’s something particularly lovely about the colour of tanzanite — shifting between soft blue, violet and deeper indigo tones depending on the light. This little stone may be delicate in size, but its colour gives it plenty of presence.

I’ve kept the wirework simple and flowing, with a woven bail and gentle silver curves framing the stone without taking attention away from its natural beauty.

Those changing shades of blue and violet reminded me of the sky as daylight begins to fade — Indigo Sky.

Tanzanite is one of December’s birthstones and is traditionally associated with transformation, intuition and new beginnings, making Indigo Sky a lovely December birthday gift or a meaningful little piece to choose for yourself.
