This one-of-a-kind pendant features beautiful Australian Ribbonstone, with delicate swirling bands of dusty pink, cream and earthy brown running through the stone.

The soft pink colouring and intricate natural patterns reminded me of the pink salt lake we visited during our recent road trip in South Australia,7

The gentle curves and layers within the stone resemble the changing waterlines and mineral-rich shores of these remarkable lakes. I named this piece Pink Lake, a little reminder of one of the unexpected highlights of our journey.

I've wrapped this stone by hand in copper, allowing the beautiful natural banding to remain the focus. The copper has been carefully oxidised and polished back, bringing out the warmth, depth and detail of the wirework while complementing the soft earthy tones of the stone.
