Rose Canyon is a one-of-a-kind pendant featuring a beautiful natural rhodochrosite with soft rose, cream and earthy tones.

I was drawn to this stone because of the natural patterns running through it—they remind me of a rugged canyon landscape, with layers of warm colour and winding formations that seem to shift depending on how you look at it.

That little landscape within the stone is where the name Rose Canyon came from.

I wrapped the stone by hand in copper wire, adding an ornate woven bail and simple flowing details that allow the natural pattern of the rhodochrosite to remain the focus. The copper has been oxidised and polished back to bring out the detail in the wirework and complement the warm tones of the stone.

Rhodochrosite is often associated with love, compassion and emotional healing.

CARE

To keep the copper and gemstones looking their best, avoid contact with water, perfumes, oils and cleaning products, and store the pendant safely when it isn’t being worn.

As with all copper jewellery, some natural darkening may occur over time depending on wear and exposure. This is a normal characteristic of copper and can be gently polished to restore its shine.

As this piece is handmade using natural stones, small variations and inclusions are part of its individual character. Colours may appear slightly different depending on lighting and screen settings.
