Moon Fire is a one-of-a-kind pendant featuring an Ethiopian black opal paired with rainbow moonstone.

I chose these two stones because they work so beautifully together—the opal has flashes of colour that appear as it catches the light, while the moonstone has a much softer glow.

That contrast between fire and moonlight is where the name came from.

I wrapped the stones by hand in silver-filled wire, adding a woven bail and simple flowing details that allow both stones to remain the focus.

Opal and moonstone are often associated with intuition, inspiration and new beginnings.
