Emerald Pools – Malachite Pendant
This one-of-a-kind pendant features natural Malachite, with deep shades of green flowing through the stone in sweeping bands and circular formations.
The pattern immediately reminded me of deep green pools and rippling water, which became the inspiration for the name Emerald Pools.
I’ve hand wrapped the stone in copper, with flowing lines and a handwoven bail designed to complement the natural shape and pattern of the Malachite without hiding it. The copper has been oxidised, polished by hand and sealed to bring out the detail in the wirework while creating a rich, finish against the vibrant greens of the stone.
Like every piece of Malachite, its distinctive bands and markings have been created naturally, making Emerald Pools a truly one-of-a-kind pendant.
Malachite is often associated with transformation, protection, courage and positive change. With its layers of rich green and naturally flowing patterns, Emerald Pools is a beautiful reminder that change can create something extraordinary.
