Afterglow features a natural ruby with beautiful rich red colouring, wrapped by hand in silver-filled wire.

There’s a lovely warmth to this little stone, with deeper crimson tones and subtle variations that give the ruby its own natural character. Its rich colour immediately reminded me of that lingering glow in the sky just after sunset — Afterglow.

I’ve wrapped the ruby in my Keepsake design, using a woven bail and flowing silver details to frame the stone while keeping its beautiful colour at the centre of the piece.

Ruby is the traditional birthstone for July and is traditionally associated with love, passion, courage and vitality, making Afterglow a lovely July birthday gift or a meaningful little piece for anyone drawn to this beautiful gemstone.
