Peony Blush – Rhodochrosite Pendant
This one-of-a-kind pendant features natural Rhodochrosite, with soft blush pink tones and delicate pale markings that spread across the stone like the ruffled petals of a peony in bloom - it was this unusual natural pattern that inspired the name Peony Blush.
I’ve hand wrapped the stone in copper, with flowing lines and a handwoven bail designed to complement its elongated shape while allowing the beautiful pattern within the
Rhodochrosite to remain the focus.
The copper has been oxidised, polished by hand and sealed to bring out the detail in the wirework while creating a rich, timeworn contrast against the softness of the stone.
Like every piece of Rhodochrosite, its colour, pattern and natural markings are entirely unique, making Peony Blush a truly one-of-a-kind pendant.
