These earrings feature hand-folded origami tiles made from indigo-dyed Chiyo paper. The paper is thick, softly fibrous, and folds into gentle pillow-like tiles that showcase geometric patterns in blues, grey and black.
Below each origami piece hangs a strip of black leather which I have shaped into a relaxed loop, with a black cone spike displayed on each side to create an edgy, balanced finish.
I have used silver-coloured findings and 316 Surgical Stainless Steel earring hooks. The overall drop length is 9cm.
The Origami tile has been lightly lacquered for protection, however avoid getting wet.
