These earrings feature hand-folded origami kite-shaped diamond forms using indigo-dyed Japanese Chiyo paper. The soft fibrous paper is detailed with traditional white geometric patterns across a deep blue base, reminiscent of traditional sashiko stitching.
For subtle detail and contrast, the earrings are finished with black glass micro bugle beads, gold-coloured findings and a 20mm gold-plated hoop.
Each paper piece has measured, cut and folded by hand. They have been lightly lacquered for protection while preserving the texture and richness of the paper.
Avoid getting wet. Overall drop length is 5cm.
