This earring pair features hand-folded origami tiles suspended on the diagonal above studded leather loops.
The paper used is Yuzen washi patterned with black and white checkerboard squares with Kanji (writing script/ Japanese characters) and pink and white cherry blossom flowers. To create each paper piece, I measure and cut from a larger sheet of paper.
A looped black leather drop hangs below, accented with twin black cone spikes.
I have used silver-coloured findings and 316 Surgical Stainless Steel Earring Hooks.
The origami tiles have been lightly lacquered for protection, however avoid getting wet.
The overall drop length is 9cm.
