These earrings combine the precision of paper folding with the strength of leather, celebrating structure, contrast, and personal expression.
At the top, you’ll find hand folded origami tiles hung on the diagonal – the patterns reminiscent of woven textures. One piece in striking red with thin black and white lines, clean and graphic. The other has a creamy neutral background covered with silver-grey stippling, overlaid with striking teal and gold lines.
Suspended beneath them are black leather folds, structured and soft, each studded with black cone spikes.
Materials used: Japanese Yuzen Washi Chiyogami, genuine leather, zinc alloy black pyramid cone spikes, gold coloured metal alloy posts and findings and hypoallergenic shepherd hooks.
The Origami tile has been lightly lacquered for protection, however avoid getting wet. Drop length is 9.5cm.
