These elegant lightweight fan shaped earrings in black and gold have been crafted from an exquisite black and gold floral Japanese washi paper and upcycled gold beads. Between each layer are small gold beads that catch the light beautifully as they dangle and dance around your face. The washi paper has been lacquered for strength and to enhance the rich colours. The fans have been suspended on a contemporary gold wire with gold plated stainless steel ear wires. The earrings will be presented in a black velvet gift bag.

Handmade process: Japanese washi paper has been folded around a lightweight supporting paper, lacquered then folded into a fan shape before adding the small gold beads using a jewellery wire. A top layer of matching washing paper supports the gold post and large gold bead.

Care: These are not intended to be immersed in water although a little rain is not an issue - the lacquer & adhesive are water proof.
