These earthy mustard yellow and rust coloured textile earrings are a perfect Autumn-Winter accessory. Crafted from textile and wooden and silver beads on a stainless steel wire and ear hook. The back of the earring has a tiny silver flower bead. They catch the light and colours beautifully as they dangle and dance around your face. They come in a black velvet lined gift box.

MATERIALS & TECHNIQUES

Many of the textiles I use are rescued from landfill or re-purposed fashion textiles, for e.g. discontinued interior textile samples; vintage Japanese kimono, obi & temple alter cloths; Rajasthani wedding gown fragments; hand stitched textiles from Turkey & Uzbekistan. Of course, I also love contemporary fashion textiles & lots of embellishments too... metallic threads, wires, beads, buttons, treasures from nature... basically all sorts of decorative objects!

Where appropriate, all materials & embellishments are adhered to a base textile or art paper using strong holding acid free adhesive or jewellery glue.

These are not intended to be immersed in water or exposed to high temperatures.
