These pretty pink and gold floral cube shaped earrings have been crafted from a beautiful lacquered Japanese washi paper, antique gold finish and brass beads with gold plated stainless steel ear wires. They dangle and dance around your face!

MATERIALS & TECHNIQUES

Many of the textiles I use are rescued from landfill or re-purposed fashion textiles, for e.g. discontinued interior textile samples; vintage Japanese kimono, obi & temple alter cloths; Rajasthani wedding gown fragments; hand stitched textiles from Turkey & Uzbekistan. Of course, I also love contemporary fashion textiles & lots of embellishments too... metallic threads, wires, beads, buttons, treasures from nature... basically all sorts of decorative objects!

Where appropriate, all materials & embellishments are adhered to a base textile or art paper using strong holding acid free adhesive or jewellery glue.
