Handmade pottery cups

Cute little cups glazed with a Frost Blue glaze, made with white raku clay. They are between 7.5 - 8.5cm high and 9cm wide.
Each cup holds around 300mls of your choice of beverage.

Each piece is thrown on the wheel and a few days later trimmed to the required shape. The cups are then carefully left to slowly dry until they reach bone dry.
The pieces are then bisque fired to a 1000 degrees celsius, after this I sand and wash each piece ready to glaze. After the glaze has had time to dry I then fire them for a second time to 1220 degrees celsius.
Each unique item takes approximately 2-3 weeks to complete.

All pieces are glazed with food safe glazes and are dishwasher and microwave proof.
Handwashing is recommended for the longevity of your piece.
