- Hi, I'm Jenelle, an Australian artist and printmaker based in Sydney and on the South Coast of NSW.
- I create linocut original artworks. The lino (linoleum) is carved out using my own drawn design and printed by hand on beautiful quality art paper. Each artwork is signed, dated and numbered to form a limited edition of each print.
- I ecoprint natural fabrics using eucalyptus leaves and gumnuts, which are created into scarves and wraps. Each piece is unique and straight from nature and is a piece of wearable art.
- The ecoprinting process: Each ecoprinted scarf has been created by hand using natural ecoprinting techniques. Every item is unique. I gather windfall eucalyptus leaves and gumnuts which are then placed on the fabric, wrapped and boiled for many hours. The colours come from the leaves and gumnuts and the lovely tie line markings are from the tannins from the leaves and the pot water. I don’t use any powdered chemical mordants. The scarves are colourfast and can be handwashed with pure soap. 💚

- All of my items are original and individually made by hand. Note that it is difficult to capture the exact colour in the photos and therefore the colours may vary from the photos online. No refunds for change of mind. All products are inspected before shipping. Slight creases and imperfections in the raw fabric may be present and are the nature of the items which give beautiful and unique character.
