A beautiful handcrafted creation.. 'Forget Me Not' The flower that is the emblem for dementia.. leaving the families behind with their memories...Handmade from paperclay and fired. She is covered with handmade tiny individual flowers...standing 14cm tall..

All of my pieces are one of a kind. This sculpture is hand created out of paperclay. ( I start all of my ‘girls’ with no end picture in my head) and then bisque fired. This keeps the clay a little porous so that I can use the piece as a 3d ‘canvas’ and paint with acrylics. It is then given a couple of layers of a gloss sealant made specifically for bisque clay. This is also called a cold finish.
