ART CARDS - Set of 6 Signed Hand Made Cards by Val Fitzpatrick

The late Val Fitzpatrick was a very well known and skilled Canberra mixed media artist who willingly shared her extensive knowledge with others. Val also took delight in making cards of which we still have a selection, and this is a set of 6 of her blank cards, each featuring her drawings collaged onto an assortment of backgrounds, some of which are the monoprinted papers she loved to print. Every card is personally signed by Val and normally sells for $5 each.. The envelopes are 11.5cm x 16cm white envelopes and the cards are inside a plastic bag.

A number of the members of Sundown Art and Craft Group were students of Val's (Val's Gals) and our little group was formed in memory of her. Those of us who learnt from Val are doing our best to pass on what she taught us to the Sundown residents in our group. We will never forget Val, what she taught us, her generosity and her hugs.

Val's husband, who has taken a keen interest in our activities, has kindly said we may use any monies raised by the sale of her remaining cards to help purchase art materials for our group. If you knew or loved Val or her work, this is a chance to purchase some of her last hand made art cards.
