The Verdant clock pairs warm Tasmanian oak grain with a hand-applied sage green finish and organic splatter detail. Where most clocks are precise and controlled, Verdant embraces the unpredictable — every splatter pattern is unique, making each clock genuinely one of a kind.
How It's Made
Each Verdant clock begins as a solid disc of Tasmanian oak, cut and shaped by hand in my workshop in Australia. The timber is sanded through progressive grits until smooth and the grain is fully revealed. The natural half is finished in a clear water-based protective coat. The opposite half is hand-painted in sage green. The splatter detail is then applied by hand — each piece receiving its own unique pattern that can never be exactly replicated. Black metal hands and an American-made Takane movement complete the clock before a final quality check.
No two Verdant clocks are identical. Ever.

Available in two sizes — 30cm or 40cm diameter. Solid 17mm thick profile throughout.

Silent sweep mechanism — no ticking. Suitable for bedrooms, nurseries, offices and any quiet space. Requires 1 x AA battery, not included. Arrives ready to hang.
Care
Wipe clean with a dry or lightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Keep away from direct moisture and prolonged direct sunlight to preserve the timber and painted finish.
