Luckily this gorgeous retro-cartoon inspired coffee won't stain anything, and is guaranteed to bring you joy! Incorporating both stained glass and fused glass elements, this piece is perfect to sit on your work desk, or hang in the window next to your relaxing nook, and brighten your day a little.
This fun piece was designed and made by hand in my home studio in Port Stephens, NSW and uses some of my favourite glasses. At approx 12cm x 10cm at its widest points, its almost a life size espresso! The heavily textured streaky glass used to create the cup and saucer give an awesome retro feel, while the deep chocolate brown and gold streaks used in the fused coffee splat make for an effective yet subtle 3D effect that's so shiny you can practically smell the coffee. I absolutely love combining the old school methods of stained glass with modern themes - it really is a way of bringing something completely unique into your home!
This piece can be finished with either a small leather hanger (suitable for indoor placement on wall or window) or a bespoke wooden base (perfect for sitting on your work or coffee table) and will look fabulous either way for no extra cost - just choose the option you'd prefer when ordering.
All of my pieces come with care instructions and a hand signed certificate. I proudly package using reclaimed and recycled materials where possible, and post all over Australia.
