Charming Bouquet, stained glass

Flowers have long been used to convey messages of love, apology, and condolences. In fact throughout the 19^th century in Europe and Britain, flowers were used as part of an official ‘language’, with assigned meanings for each specific bloom! In more modern times, flowers have remained a popular way to tell someone how you feel about them, but also just a beautiful way of bringing a bit of luxe to our everyday homes - my Nan used to say that flowers “make the room”, and I have to agree with her!

These stunning cottage bouquets have been hand crafted using organic shapes and a variety of different glasses – much of which is reclaimed vintage glass (some 100 years old!) Each bouquet comprises 9 individual pieces, perfect for that mid-size posey. Pieces range from approximately 15cm to 24cm tall. Stems have been created using hand twisted copper wire that I've tinned at the end to ensure they aren't sharp, and they can be bent with gentle movement to ensure the flowers sit perfectly in your chosen bouquet. Each individual petal has been hand cut, ground and soldered, and will require only periodic dusting and polishing to keep them looking lovely and fresh…..forever.
