This stylish resin bottle opener was handmade by me in my studio in Buderim. It has stainless steel hardware and embedded rose quartz gemstones. I embed the stones in clear food-safe resin in a mould and the hardware is later attached with resin, making this piece a strong but stylish addition to your bar or a great gift idea for your family and friends, or someone who just appreciates beautiful objects!

Rose quartz is one of the many quartz varieties used as a gemstone. It gets its name from its delicate pink colour, which ranges from very light (almost white), to medium-dark. The use of rose quartz is said to date back as far as 7,000 BC and it has also been claimed that Egyptian and Roman women used rose quartz face masks to clear their complexions and prevent wrinkles. Today rose quartz is often used as jewellery, for meditation, or as decoration in homes or office spaces. Rose quartz is perhaps best known for being the stone of unconditional love and compassion. It’s believed by some to emit a strong vibration of love, joy and emotional healing.

Rose Quartz is the secondary and complimentary January birthstone.
