Hand sculpted by Derek from hebel (an aerated concrete), this organic shaped vase embodies a rich blend of orange and mid-yellow tones, blended together in a swirling pattern, so no two pieces catch the light quite the same way. Compact and grounded, it comes complete with a test-tube to hold either a single stem or small collection of flowers from the garden, or even a dried flower stem.

Derek hand sculpts each piece from a block of hebel with manual tools like rasps and chisels and then uses a water marbling process to colour each piece with a breath-taking pattern of colours and patterns.

It works beautifully as a dry vase, tabletop object, or standalone sculptural accent. A tactile, earthy piece that brings understated texture and colour to shelves, sideboards, or outdoor settings.
