This stylish resin bottle opener and cheese knife set was handmade by me in my studio in Buderim. Each piece has embedded rose quartz gemstones and stainless steel hardware. I embed the stones in clear food-safe resin with the use of silicone moulds. After curing the hardware is attached with resin, making these pieces a strong but stylish addition to your bar and for entertaining, or as a great gift idea for your family and friends, or someone who just appreciates beautiful objects!

Rose quartz is one of the many quartz varieties used as a gemstone. It gets its name from its delicate pink colour, which ranges from very light (almost white), to medium-dark. The use of rose quartz is said to date back as far as 7,000 BC and it has also been claimed that Egyptian and Roman women used rose quartz face masks to clear their complexions and prevent wrinkles. Today rose quartz is often used as jewellery, for meditation, or as decoration in homes or office spaces. Rose quartz is widely known as the stone of universal love and compassion.
