Hand sculpted by Derek from Hebel, this architectural vase shows off the contrasting hues of deep earth and flowing water, blended together with a dynamic flow. Compact and grounded, it works beautifully as a dry or wet vase, tabletop object, or standalone sculptural accent. A tactile, earthy piece that brings understated texture and colour to shelves, sideboards, or outdoor settings.

Derek hand sculpts each vase from a block of hebel in our outdoor studio based in Buderim - Sunshine Coast, using manual tools like rasps and chisels, then carefully drill the hollow in the vase for the test tube well and hand sand the piece in preparation to paint. I apply a colour marbling technique to colour each piece with a breath-taking blend of colours and patterns.

This vase includes the clear glass test tube.
