The pretty pink exterior opens to reveal a striking 100% cotton lining featuring Willy Wagtail birds and native blossoms against a soft blue background, adding an unexpected touch of Australian character to the design.
Designed and sewn by Katie in her home studio in the Sutherland Shire, NSW, this bag gives beautiful fabric scraps a second life while helping reduce textile waste.

Materials & Upcycling
All fabrics used are repurposed scraps and off-cuts saved from my sewing projects.
New materials used are limited to stabiliser, metal hardware, thread and the cotton label.
By using fabric scraps that might otherwise be discarded, this bag helps reduce textile waste while creating something practical, durable and completely unique.
