A one-of-a-kind crossbody bag created from repurposed cotton fabric scraps, combining autumnal shades of pink, tan, orange and yellow with pretty floral prints. Each piece of the patchwork has been rescued from leftover sewing fabrics, creating a bag that is as individual as the materials used to make it.
Designed and sewn by Katie in her home studio in the Sutherland Shire, NSW, this bag gives beautiful fabrics a second life while helping reduce textile waste.

Materials & upcycling
The exterior and strap are made using repurposed cotton fabric scraps saved from my sewing projects.
New materials used are limited to stabiliser, zippers, metal hardware, thread and the cotton label.
By using fabric scraps that might otherwise be discarded, each bag helps divert textiles from waste while creating something practical and completely unique.

Every FFAQ Handmade piece is individually designed and sewn by me. While I take great care with every detail, slight variations in dimensions, pattern placement and finish are an inherent part of the handmade process and make each piece unique.
Care
Spot clean only. Line dry in shade. Warm iron if required, avoiding the zippers as the nylon may melt.
