Do you ever go out and wish you had an extra pair of hands to carry a scarf or jumper 'just in case you need it'? Well these bag buddies could be your answer! Created with my very own handspun natural undyed wool and then handwoven on a simple wooden heddle and backstrap loom, they provide that extra little bit of help when needed. The band simply wraps around the jumper, scarf or other clothing item, threads through the metal ring (as many times as required for desired length) and then clips on to your handbag, backpack or belt clip. The band is small enough to easily fit in your bag or pocket when not in use.
Please note that due to the handcrafted characteristics of handspun yarn, there may be slight inconsistencies in thickness and ply, but this is an endearing part of the charm of handspun yarn and ensures that this piece is truly one of a kind.
These bag buddies are an eco-conscious option as the fibres are naturally sustainable and compostable, ensuring that this handcrafted item can return to the earth after many cherished years (remove metal components before composting).
These bag buddies are not recommended for young children but are fantastic if you are off hiking, or out for a casual stroll or even a coffee.
Materials: 100% natural undyed wool (with mulberry silk for the warp on the large bag buddy) and a metal ring and clip.
Measurements:
The large bag buddy is approximately 88cm's in length and approximately 1.5 cm in width.
The small bag buddy is approximately 53cm's in length and approximately 1cm in width.
Care Instructions: To ensure your bag buddy lasts and looks its best, please give it a gentle hand wash and dry flat in the shade as required.
