This stunning handspun cowl is made with a blend of Hand-dyed (by Martien van Zuilen) 70% Fine Merino and 30% Mulberry Silk in gorgeous blues and purples which remind me of the various stages of growing blueberries. Handspun by me on my Majacraft 'Rose' spinning wheel and then crocheted to create a lovely textured, snuggly cowl that is completely unique, and finished off with a rustic hammered textured metal button (decoration only).
The cowl is an eco-conscious option, as the fibres are naturally sustainable and compostable, ensuring that this handcrafted item can return to the earth after many cherished years.
Please note that due to the handcrafted characteristics of handspun yarn, there may be slight inconsistencies in thickness and ply, but this is an endearing part of the charm of handspun yarn and ensures that this piece is truly one of a kind.
