This beautiful cowl reminds me of a basket of mixed berries - including blueberries, raspberries, mulberries and boysenberries - with many shades of purples and some pink and blue too.
The Silk & Merino Wool has been blended by me on my Majacraft Hackle and then spun by hand on my Ashford Spinning Wheel. Once the yarn was plied, skeined, washed, and wound into a ball, it was time to crochet a soft and drapey scallop edged cowl using a lovely pattern by Jemima Flendt from 'Tied with a Ribbon'.
Please note that due to the handcrafted characteristics of handspun yarn, there may be slight inconsistencies in thickness and ply, but this is an endearing part of the charm of handspun yarn and ensures that this piece is truly one of a kind.
The cowl is an eco-conscious option, as the fibres are naturally sustainable and compostable, ensuring that this handcrafted item can return to the earth after many cherished years.

Measurements: Circumference is approximately 55cm. Width is approximately 20cm.
Care Instructions: To ensure your cowl lasts and looks its best, please give it a gentle hand wash and dry flat in the shade as required.
