These gorgeous mats are perfect for a special Christmas ornament or candle and make a thoughtful gift for the 'hard to buy for person'.
Each mat is made with love - the natural fibre yarn is first handspun on either one of my spindles or spinning wheels, and then woven on a little pin loom to create a very special piece to treasure.
‘North Pole' was hand blended and then spun on my Ashford spinning wheel and is a blend of festive red, green & white.
'Tis the Season' is similar to 'North Pole' but in slightly deeper, richer tones.
"Christmas Sprinkles' is a combination of traditional red, green and creamy white, but has an added burst of lime green to add a bit of fun to the festivities - think 'Grinch' vibes.
'Celebration' is a fresh and fun blend of bright green and pinkish red with a hit of mauve.
These mats are an eco-conscious option, as the fibres are naturally sustainable and compostable, ensuring that this handcrafted item can return to the earth after many cherished years, rather than adding to the enormous problem of textile waste produced by the mass made industry.
Please note that due to the unique characteristics of handspun yarn, there may be slight differences between mats created with the same yarn, this is part of the charm of handspun yarn and means each candle mat is unique and makes the perfect keepsake.

'North Pole' - 100% hand blended Merino Wool.
'Christmas Sprinkles' - Hand blended combination of Corriedale and Merino wool.
'Celebration' & 'Tis the Season' - Extra fine Merino & Corriedale Wool with Silk.
Measurements: Regular sized mats are approximately 14cm x 14cm.
Small mats are approximately 9cm x 9cm.
Care Instructions: To ensure your mat lasts and looks its best, please give it a gentle hand wash and dry flat in the shade as required.
