These contemporary rubber cord and black and white stripe and spot textile bangles are a stylish accessory. Two of the bangles have a pop of colour in orange or orange, aqua and green. They are super lightweight and comfortable to wear and looks fabulous paired with other bangles from my range. The fit is slightly smaller at the wrist which allows the bangle to easily sit on the arm (dimensions below are for the smallest opening).

Materials:

Contemporary textiles have been used in these bangles however many of the textiles I use are rescued from landfill or re-purposed fashion textiles, for e.g. discontinued interior textile samples; vintage Japanese kimono, obi & temple alter cloths; Rajasthani wedding gown fragments; hand stitched textiles from Turkey & Uzbekistan. Of course, I also love contemporary fashion textiles & lots of embellishments too... metallic threads, wires, beads, buttons, treasures from nature... basically all sorts of adornments!

Technique:

Materials & embellishments are adhered to a base textile or paper using strong holding acid free adhesive
