This beautiful bracelet is woven into a “GSG” design, created at the "Great Southern Gathering" of Chain Maille artisans. It is made from 1.25mm diameter sterling silver wire purchased through a precious metal merchant.
The wire is cut into links that are then opened, woven, and closed meticulously into the GSG" design, a weave that results in a very pretty and elegant chain, with a luxurious feel. The chain is finished with a beautiful "life-buoy" clasp and a tiny disc stamped "sterling" before being tumbled for a few hours to smooth all the surfaces and ensure a brilliant shine.
The bracelet weighs 38 grams and is 200mm long and 12mm wide.
To keep its brilliant sheen, it is recommended to occasionally dip the bracelet into a silver cleaning solution.
This bracelet can be posted anywhere in Australia from the Mornington Peninsula where it has been lovingly created.
