This beautiful bracelet, woven into a “Byzantine” design, is made from 0.8mm dia. sterling silver wire purchased through a precious metal merchant.
The wire is then cut into 100s of tiny links; each link is then opened, woven, and then closed meticulously into the intricate Byzantine or King's weave, which is historical and stylistic.
This weave produces a very strong but flexible chain, with a luxurious feel.
A tiny disc is then stamped "sterling" and attached before being tumbled for a few hours to smooth all the surfaces and ensure a brilliant shine.
The bracelet weighs 15 grams, is 210mm long and 5mm wide, and has a parrot clasp.
To keep its brilliant sheen, it is recommended to occasionally dip the bracelet into a silver cleaning solution.
This bracelet can be posted to you anywhere in Australia from the Mornington Peninsula where it has been lovingly created.
