I have been creating and teaching the art of Chain Maille weaving on the Mornington Peninsula for more than a decade and love the process and the interaction with my students.
After 20 years I have so many pieces - I either had to stop creating or sell some - so I have joined MadeIt.
I weave bracelets, necklaces, anklets, and earrings. Each piece is unique with numerous options available.
Firstly, the clasp - this may be a 'parrot', 'lobster', 'barrel', 'life-buoy', or a hand forged clasp, which makes a real statement on a bulkier piece.
Secondly, the wire - the wire used is either Sterling Silver or 18ct gold plate, with wire diameters from a thin 0.08mm to a more bulky 1.5mm.
So whether you desire a fine, delicate piece, or a chunky, heavy statement piece, I can make it for you.
