Handmade in my studio with eco-concrete, this single stem vase has been created using pink and blue terrazzo chips. After the vase is removed from the mould and cured for several days it is sanded to reveal the terrazzo chips and is then fully sealed with two coats of an acrylic sealer.

The vase will hold a single stem or a small collection of flowers from the garden. Here I've used a pretty single stem of a Malaysian orchid in water, or it could be a dry stem, some purple fountain grass perhaps.

Eco-concrete is a water-based, non-toxic micro-cement used for decorative interior finishes, furniture and homewares. It creates a smooth, breathable, concrete-inspired texture, used for handmade home decor items, with a minimal / low carbon foot print. It’s also great fun and very satisfying to work with!

The vase is fully sealed and ready to use, it comes complete with a glass test-tube to pop your favourite flower/s or garden cuttings in!
